Homemade green or yellow beans soup recipe

I love to grow beans in my garden… yellow or green, when they are freshly picked, steam cooked, with a little bit of butter, they are yummy!Homemade green or yellow beans soup recipe

The thing is, when the plant starts to give us beans, they come out in huge quantity!

So, here is a homemade green or yellow beans soup recipe that will allow you to vary the presentation of this high in fibre vegetable.

The base of this soup is made of Béchamel sauce.

  1. Start by cooking the green or yellow beans chopped in pieces. Don’t overcook them.
  2. Make the Béchamel sauce.
  3. Add the beans in the sauce, let them soak.
  4. Serve.

Of course, you can cook your beans in advance, but for the sauce, it is better if you cook it right before serving it.
